Executive Cohort Training
Did you know:
-
Business leaders estimated 7.47 hours a week of time lost to poor communication (18.7% of a workweek).
-

-
66% of leaders think they’re aligned with employees. 44% of employees agree.
Like an aspiring athlete looks up to a childhood idol, you, as a senior executive, are in a privileged position, and there is no substitute for leading by example. Say It Skillfully is a highly personalized capability—when leaders model effectively using their voices in ways authentic to themselves, the entire organization gets the powerful message that each and every team member matters, and hearing all voices is how the team will perform at the highest levels.
Consider:
-
Are you hearing what you need to hear from the team? (even though you’ve been clear you want people to speak up!)
-
Do you know what your team wants you to do more, and less of?
-
Would you like to run less interference between team members, wishing that they’d just figure each other out?
Effective communication to align all stakeholders to a shared aim is possible, takes focus and starts at the top.
The Executive Cohort Engagement builds on the Say It Skillfully 101 video lessons with peer practice and coaching sessions with Molly, which may be one-on-one and/or group as tailored to your needs. To best relate with each other and have shared context, executives review the same video lessons as their people.
Depending on the individual strengths and opportunities, Molly will customize practice sessions to meet executives where they are. The program elements are a 90-minute virtual group kick-off, one week of self-paced learning, and 2-6 weeks of bi-weekly intensive practice sessions for a total program duration of 4-8 weeks.
Graduates will be able to apply the simple 3-part Say It Skillfully framework and utilize the ADEPT communication skills so that they communicate openly with clarity, help their teams say what needs to be said, and create the accurate shared reality to best achieve the organization’s outcomes.
Benefits of more skillful executives:
-
Credibility: Leading the organization by example in open, transparent communication
-
Teamwork: Improved collaboration among the senior-most leaders and clarity of messages to the rest of the organization for alignment and accountability
-
Growth: Stronger ability of leaders to coach up and develop team members. Companies grow when people at all levels are growing
